Harvesting

PZL are currently harvesting in Golden Bay.

New Zealand Geoduck are harvested from the vessel "Takapu", which is equipped with the latest diving gear to facilitate safe harvesting in this remote area of New Zealand.

We travel to the dive site daily and harvest, weather permitting.

A diver is deployed to the seabed with surface supplied air and uses a water jet that liquefies the sand around each Geoduck, allowing the fish to be extracted.

It is then sent to the surface for grading before being transferred to the special holding tanks.
